Yes it’s the best way. I always precompose everything what buyer need to edit, to make project easy for customization. Always think about buyers, prepare project for customization as simple as possible. Better precompose 10 texts in 10 composition, than to let buyer to dig into compositions with lot of layers.
Kinetic typography can be specific, if you can’t precompose texts because of text effects, shy all other layers except text layers, and additionally add some markers with quick instructions.

I think it’s time for staff to write something in this thread, at least something unofficially about the prices.

Some buyers don’t know anything about compression. Windows can extract zip file without need to install any archiver. I dont know for mac, but win can. That’s why zip is better choice.
I’m always using zip for transfer large files, the benefit is that client dont need to install anything, and I can extract/compress files through cpanel without installing any scripts for rar support.
I’m using rar for my stuffs and when I’m sending something to my friends who are not noobs.
Rar is also good to compress huge files into smaller parts. For VH files (up to 1gb) zip is fine.
