I’m still amazed by this but is your money after all, if author and Envato are OK with rewarding abusive behaviour be my guests.

If rating is unjustified should be removed. Author should pressure Envato about this and Envato should realize that unjustified ratings are a money problem for them.

Giving money back to buyers that harass and insult the author will solve nothing. Will just give a free item to this type of buyer. I think we all lose except the said buyer.

example

I want free item so I have something to upload on said piracy websites. Just show up on Envato marketplace, buy what I like, insult, make false claims, harass, give 1 star rating. Author and Envato gives me money back. Perfect plan!

Hello, one of the buyers have got a problem in his server. And it required changing the base of my item.

However I have told him The Problem is mainly caused by your server and I can’t change it unless it is freelance work.

After a time I found new rating with 1 star with “this sh!t can’t work on my server”

Now I have read about the new refund system. I was wondering now I can refund him and the rating will be removed ?. If I can’t then I wish in the new refund system there will be rate removal with the issued refund.

but people why?

why give the money back to people like this?

I don’t understand.

I prefer to give refunds to people who had been happy with my work and really appreciate the time and effort I’ve invested in creating an item.

I definitely don’t want those money back to people like in your description.

Guys, I don’t mean to be rude, this thread is about censorship and locking threads, not to debate support issues, Doru, if support didn’t complete their job, mail them again! Some links may be hidden by the author or not removed by him afterwards!

yes we know sorry about that. but since creative had been tricked in believing the issue had been fixed and it is not was letting him know that link is still there

Yeah, yesterday we implemented a new uploader that initially experienced some issues, all of which have now been corrected. If anybody is still experiencing issues though, please let us know. :) Cheers, and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

the uploader doesn’t work. tried with chrome and firefox. zip archive is stuck at 0%.

a jpg test stuck randomly between 0% and 99%

also there is no way to cancel the files you are uploading.

better if we can have ftp access, filezilla have resume functionality and works

I render always from AE to an image sequence and then I need to reencode that again. So there is no problem like no E3D support cause everything is already prerendered.

is what I’m doing also :D

adobe said rendering to h264 in ae is broken and they remove it in CC. I never had a problem with this but if they are saying is broken, they maybe know something

Sure! How’s the weather next year?

not really great, will all the nuclear war going on for the past months, but at least we fixed the overpopulation problem. Also no one cares about the badges anymore so I think we are ok.

I think there is a difference between Quicktime H264 and AE MP4 H264

From my experience Quicktime file is bigger. Also with AE MP4 H264, you have a bit more control than Quicktime

But wait, where you really have all the option for MP4 is Media Encoder, off course don’t use quicktime but H264

Just open the options for the MP4 H264 in After Effects and in Media Encoder and you will see the difference

In CC H264 MP4 encoding in After Effects had been removed (you can get it back using the legacy unsupported codecs)

Quicktime version is still there but as above the real control is in Media Encoder.

So in CC you need to render the project through Media Encoder if you want an MP4 directly from the render. This creates problems as certain plugins can’t be loaded by Media Encoder (for example Element3D )

So back to your problem the H264 issue may be a Quicktime problem. Try render using H264 directly see what happens

I’m trying to figure out what links with referral are guys are talking about… Is this about “voicerabbit”? http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/affiliate-links-in-item-description/136650 This 2 month old thread has some direct answers yet one of videohive’s highest selling item (that is also being promoted on envato market’s main page) clearly violates this rule… As 2 months have passed, either no one cares or staff just lets it slide through because it sells well?

yes is the rabbit website with ads on item page promising 20% discount.

that page had been verified by staff couple of hours ago presumably. how they can’t see this issue?

not only is a referral link but that website is a competitor of envato having a marketplace similar with audiojungle
