Exciting news guys -
Luckily they didn’t remove all the progress bar code completely from the system. So I’ve figured out how to display the progress bar again!
Here’s what you have to do to get the mighty progress bar back:
- Step 1: In Google Chrome – Install the Dashboard Plus extension
- Step 2: Go to your Settings page and choose Dashboard Plus at the bottom
- Step 3: Enable the Progress Bar
- Step 4: Wait for those warm fuzzy feelings to return!
Here’s what it looks like:
Please jump over to the Dashboard Plus thread if you have any troubles using this browser extension.
Update: Still happy and grateful, but the “Advanced Search” function doesn’t seem to be performing correctly for me.
I’ll find some time to poke around in the code and see if it’s possible to make Advanced Search work. Or, you’re welcome to fork the code and work on the fix too https://github.com/dtbaker/dashboard-plus
thanks Kris. ok guys, it’s on the webstore:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dashboard-plus-for-envato/gcbcdaghonmljaplbpbbimmmfhmhcheh
If you want to use this please remove the current extension first, otherwise the internet will explode.
Let me know if anything doesn’t work, this was done really quickly while holding a sleeping baby so I may have missed something..
There hasn’t been an update from @revaxarts in a few months, I’m going to try upload this to the Chrome Webstore shortly.
@revaxarts – contact me at any time if you want me to stop this and I’ll hit the big delete button
Step 1: Copy the extension to Github – complete: https://github.com/dtbaker/dashboard-plus
Step 2: Setup Github pages for fast JS hosting – complete: http://dtbaker.github.io/dashboard-plus/script.js
Step 3: Create a logo for the Webstore entry – Thanks kriskorn
Step 4: Publish to Chrome Webstore – done
Step 5: Chase down @pixelthrone and get their addition added to the script – pending
So basically none of our sales are guaranteed for 6 months, because if we slip up with support, then the buyer is entitled to get his money back.
Currently – we keep our commission even if the buyer gets a refund. Sales reversals are a slightly different beast (and from my experience happen rather quickly so wouldn’t tie up support).
Great news Collis!
Making support mandatory will certainly help improve a lot of things.
I sometimes get buyers who are borderline abusing my item support, emailing many times a week for months on end. They’re happy buyers, just have lots of weird and wonderful questions. Please try to think up some sort of “acceptable use” guidlines for buyers, so they know sending 100 emails in 6 months is not really OK.
Also, please ask the devs to consider improving the
verify-purchase API call to include remaining time left on support (if at all possible). And have that date change if extra support packs are purchased (or however it works out, tying in support packs with the original license code would help with us people who run our own 3rd party support/verification systems).
We should throw a bucket of ice on you more often if these type of awesome announcements come out afterwards
On 21 and 22 august I get 2 sales, sadly both sales are 33% I can’t see time when items are purchased so I don’t know how close they are to the 100%
I had an extended license on friday 22 but my share was 33% too…maybe we should ask the staff??
Happy birthday Envato though! Thanks changing my life, giving me confidence and a place to start!
