I don’t know if this’s been suggested earlier but having the login form at the top instead of just the sign-in button will be really handy.

Hello,

I have posted a thread some time ago about loading fonts to flex at runtime, anyway I could only load fonts if it were embeded in a swf, HOWever, I ran into this app on google web store (Slide Rocket – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/omeengfjefdmhnkojnfmncpfdbhnecea ). I see the option that the user can upload his own font to be used inside the app. OK, how is this done?, the only Idea I can come up with is that they compile a swf with the uploaded font on the server side OR is it possible to load TTF at runtime?

cheers! -jayc

I’m pretty sure that it’s not compulsory to embed fonts in a swf in order to load fonts. You can use, for example, styles like this:

@font-face { src: url(../assets/CAeuropa00.ttf); fontFamily: myPlainFont; embedAsCFF: true; }

in order to load fonts. So I’m guessing that what ever fonts are uploaded by user, they’re placing in a custom folder and are loading them dynamically.

Are you using bitmapdata’s draw function on the sub swf?? If yes and the sub swf is from other domain then the sandbox violation error will occur:

Hi I’m trying to display the exact maximum value of my chart data on the axis. But, flex is rounding off it to a much lower value and displaying it in the label. For eg. if I’ve a maximum value of 5324 on Y-axis, flex display values only upto 5100. I want the axis label values display exactly 5324. I’ve tried using maximum, computedMaximum values but they didn’t work.

please help. thx.

try using Application.application instead of referencing with Class name directly.

I’m sorry, but where exactly are these terms regarding the deposits getting expired. I can’t see any links/ text regarding this on buy page or the deposit page. I’ve deposited money a few times but used it immediately so never faced any problem, but I’m interested in reading terms and conditions regarding this.

It’s right on the deposit form:

:confused: how could I miss that… I feel like a complete idiot… :dead:

I think there’s a solution in the adobe forum thread you’ve posted: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1066381;jsessionid=E539F1723BD12DCDB069A74951B157E3.node0#1066381
