Funny, didn’t realise the https move has not affected the old FMBL apps. All works fine on your page. The main problem you can find is that sooner or later FB will deprecate the FBML , and you’ll need to move on iFrames and SSL , i’m afraid. But meanwhile, enjoy the exclusivity!
Thought that was what had happened, i guess it would be wise to anticipate the inevitable time when the pages will require iframes and ssl. Ill get to work on updating them
Wondering if you could help me out. Im using a couple of Flash facebook pages on my facebook page here…https://www.facebook.com/TeachersPetUK
The pages seem to be working fine at the moment, however, do i need to make any changes to the server serving the files to facebook, or will these pages continue to work. They use the OLD FBML style.
Awesome numbers, forum stats are wrong though, i should be on there
Holy s… where did that go???
This is not good news, it’s bad news.
So even if Flash may eventually disappear from browsers, it remains an excellent cross-platform technology.
Let me split that up:
1. Flash [may eventually] / will disappear from browsers.I hope they are really pushing Flash on the desktop/browsers, otherwise Flash is doomed.
2. it remains an excellent cross-platform technology / it isn’t, and it won’t be, for anything more than games.
Yup, Flash is strugging, got myself a Job as a Flex developer for web/desktop/mobile, spent a long time looking for fulltime Flash work and struggled…
I really really hope flash makes a comeback, but in the meantime i’m happy using AS and Flex for software development
Gotta agree with the reviewers on this one, just for the fonts alone…
