Thanks Jeffrey. Have you thought about separating the eCommerce themes built on WordPress into their own subcategory inside the eCommerce category?

Guess it’s something to think about as the micro-marketplace evolves.

Unfortunately not yet. It is on our list to do though at some point.

@chrismccoy you can specify how many times a downloadable product may be downloaded but there’s no expiry date option just yet.

what i mean is expiring links instead of giving a direct link to the file, so it cant be shared, it will generate a new link.

We decided to tackle this by specifying how many times a file can be downloaded per customer. If you set this to ‘1’ the file can only be downloaded once and it doesn’t matter if the link is shared.

What payment gates are supported at the moment? PayPal and Moneybookers (Skrill)? Or is there something else?

Do you plan integration with local payment gates (like most popular in Poland: platnosci.pl or dotpay) in the future for pro version?

At the minute it’s PayPal and Skrill (MoneyBookers). We’ll be adding others soon such as Google Checkout and SagePay. Also on the radar is Authorize.net.

As we’re UK based it’s difficult for us to cover all nations but if anyone was interested in contributing we’d love to hear from you.

The way I see it, users would earn points by interacting with the site (here CubePoints does all the work). Then, you have some stuff to sell. Users can get a discount price in exchange for a certain amount of points.

So it’s just deducting points for a purchase. Something like a bridge between the two, to use points as a discount for an item.

Would that be realistic? (realistic for you, in terms of dev.)

Definitely realistic in terms of development. I think there will be more highly requested features though which would push something like this down the queue a little.

How would you see that working? You could use them together right now and users could earn points by submitting reviews. Or did you want users to earn points for actually buying things?
