I’ve recently been trying to make an iOS app using Flash CS5 .5. It was really easy to make, but the performance isn’t close to the performance of objective-c apps. I’ve seen some nice Flash iOS apps, but the game I’m making requires a lot of motion and fades and Flash just couldn’t perform. I’ve just started learning Objective-C using iTunes U Stanford courses. It’s VERY different than Actionscript in a lot of ways, but I’ll get there eventually.

I have met “Machinarium” built with Flash. It is popular on iPad2.
I have a game project for mobil devices having iOS and Android. I want choose flash platform (packaged with AIR ) for these devices. However, I have not any idea about future of flash on iOS and Android.

I have a problem about embedding swf animation. I googled it, but I have not found any solution.
when embedding a swf file (greater than 16-20 mb), flash gives me an error Error #2100: The ByteArray parameter in Loader.loadBytes() must have length greater than 0.
When I try small size of same swf, I works properly.

I’m preparing a long animation in Flash. Nearly there are 5000 frame, picture and sound in the project. The problem is when I make an animation in a movie clip on the main scene and record as a video, the animation in the movieclip doesn’t play. How can I show all the frames in the video when I record as a video?Thanks.
You can take swf from flash. Then, convert it other types you want with Adobe Premiere.
Adobe Premiere does not play movieclip animations (like most of the other video converters), you must convert them to graphic symbols. If there is a sound problem, you can edit the sound with premiere
