Yes, you are correct in the final download file, there will be a documentation and a .html file.
The externally uploaded files will have absolute paths, so when the buyer uploads the theme, then everything will work correctly for them.
Relative – css/style.css Absolute – http://www.example.com/style.css
When you upload your files via Tumblr Static Upload, then you will get the absolute paths.
