I’ll try to be more clear. If I buy a template and the template uses bits that elements doesn’t have – is it the case that Elements simply won’t be able to open the file or can I use the “flattened image” as a layer but I am not able to edit the pieces that Elements doesn’t recognise?

SO I can use the result of that complex layer style but I can’t edit it.

Sadly I only have Photoshop elements right now.

Does this mean I 1 – can open and use these design templates as “background” exactly as is? 2 -can open and maybe modify some of them, depending on PS techniques used? 3 – shouldn’t bother with this fabulous collection at all.
