Use http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator to convert TTF to WOFF then you should be good… ;)

cheers! looked promising but still no go in firefox 3.6 or 4. meh.

must be that font.

I fixed it just buy editing your CSS through the browser pointing it to a converted WOFF file of that font… so it may be access problems like the others have stated.

I guess I’m in the camp that believes too many people are buying themes and selling them as if they created them, which is fine, but they don’t have the skills or want to bother with removing branding. For $35 bucks, I think authors should be able to include a little branding and self promotion. Bump the prices up to the $70 range and I might change my tune.

+1 – You pay $35 for something that takes us months to build and sometimes months if not longer to break even on for our time… from most of the good guys here you get free support… and your complaining about “little” or even “big” advertising… give me a break…

But remember, there are authors who spends months on a single WP item -> they need the popular list promoted on the front page in a much more visible way than it’s now …

@Mark: Please say something about the visibility of such button on Envato meeting, I think it’s quite important for us and I am sure I am not alone…

+1

I think its a shame there is no button for the Popular Items, it has helped me to look at what others find interesting and I believe it rewarded Authors who built better items and give good support.

You mean this?

That’s great that they added under there… but you don’t just make something disappear that users have been using for YEARS to figure out on their own where it is… it’s a bad idea and a HUGE UX faux pas…

I can see it… and it is pretty bad usability wise…. why not go horizontal if you want to do a menu with that much content?

Also… would it hurt to get an official answer about the weekly popular link gone missing?

This is a little more than just changing the design… This just changed how thousands of people probably buy/shop from the site… return customers can no longer see what’s popular that is new.

Instead they have to wade through hundreds of files… you probably just effected a bunch of authors sales… without so much as a warning from what I can tell. Authors who had released great files a couple weeks or months ago who were on the weekly popular list… but their sales totals were not at all time numbers (like files that have been here for many months or years)... are now lost in the middle. 100% chance that they’re going to see a huge drop.

An experienced UX designer, when they want to make a change… they’d ease customers into a change… not completely take away how something works that they were use to…

You need to put the weekly popular files back…

I think you’ve got some nice design concepts there (the overlay-ed slider, the nav bar, the hover over images effect)...

but to be honest… there’s a lack of definition… everything is so soft and light. It’s like staring at a light bulb or a hazy morning… some of the soft blue on soft grays make it hard to focus/read… even when switching themes there’s some color/definition issues… many elements of the design are taking away from users being able to focus on the content…

however, it’s got potential and that’s more than I can say about many of the other rejected threads that pop up here… i’d write the reviewer back and ask their opinion…

good luck… :)

instead they put a ‘mostly useless’ Help section there, which nobody needs… and collections could be promoted on a different thumbnail…... the home needs definetely a Redesign

I’ll take a moment to reminisce on this...

:P
