Have to say have also noticed the lack of cheery threads lately, and I do think that a couple of key individuals just like to start things for no reason, and cause tension in the community. With that being said they are a minority, while the majority of users love and support this amazing website.
I for one think that Envato, especially it’s devs (while sometimes a little slow in fixing some issues =P ) go above and beyond!
Can’t wait to reach the 500,000 users mark, congrats on an amazing journey ThemeForest!
While I agree that the overall “fun community” factor of ThemeForest has gone a little downhill lately, you cannot put Jeffrey’s efforts to shame. This man has a lot to deal with (the authors, the clients, his bosses, his employees, the reviewers, etc.) it is not an easy job.
With that being said, I have yet to see a better site manager on any website, I feel he is the only thing that is translating our messages to the bosses up top.
Also, Magento is truly amazing have you taken the time to even look it up, it is far from boring. What IS boring however is more Wordpress contests for publicity, I get it it’s the hot button right now, but let’s give it a rest guys it’s not all about you. Let’s give other platforms a try and see where that gets us, and if it doesn’t work, Wordpress isn’t going anywhere.
Just my two cents, no offense to anyone.
Huge, huge drop this month, I thought it was just me
Australia would have to have its own country specific event as we get super lag if we play against US people or Europe. Lame i know. When you buy MW2 you will know what i mean.
I know exactly what you mean
Going to be sumitting a design to this category this week, I’m excited!
Honestly i tend to go with the smaller companies, i find the support is much much better..i’d recommend www.tmzhosting.com
