I use to work full time on Code Canyon but have slowly moved away from it. If I wanted to, however, I could easily go back to full time at any point.

I agree with the above. Also, from my experience, aMember is a terrible piece of software.

Do nothing. Fighting piracy is a waste of time. It is must more in your interest to spend your time actively developing your skills.

Maybe your mustache becomes real :)

I can attest to the no-realness of his moustache :D

I agree support is hopeless, ive been trying to buy a plugin for 2 days now and keep getting errors. This site must be costing developers a small fortune by not making a reply to tickets.

What’s the error you’ve been seeing?

When did they say we weren’t allowed to do it ourselves?

As far as I know the official update system from Envato that was built for themes has pretty much died, at least from what I hear from some TF author buddies.

The plugin updater version has issues in 3.4 as well. I took his code and tweaked it a lot, but what happens to me is WP always thinks there is a new version available, even when the version numbers are the same.

I’m in the process of writing my own.

It looks like it works really well. My guess is that the reviewers would like to see additional transitions and effects.

Also, I realized that this is a public forum. I intentionally posted here because I thought I might get an accurate response more quickly than if I went to the author. Maybe I should try that though. Either way, thanks for your help.

In this case contacting the author is more likely to get you support as it could be something specific to that plugin, and not all of the users here will have used it (I haven’t).
