Yes, this is really faster now. This should be applied for “Search results” page, too.

That’s definitely something we’re planning on doing ultimately.

This applies to all marketplaces?

Yes it applies to every marketplace except Photodune which doesn’t have categories (just tags). We’ll be adding this feature to the search results once we’re enough confident of its stability.

Sweet, seen you fixed the bug on that… It would be interesting to see how many extra sales this would bring. Do envato do A/B testing?

Thanks for your feedback.

We’re not using A/B testing for this feature but we have some metrics in place which will tell us if users browse through more pages.

The feature is now available on all Marketplaces.

I’ve created a new thread accessible from all marketplaces, you can find it here: http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/improvement-faster-category-page-navigation/73141

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Hi everyone,

We’ve just pushed some changes affecting the category listing page pagination. The changes involve not reloading the entire page when jumping between result sets using HTML5 and AJAX . We’re hoping that this will result in faster navigation and better usability encouraging users to browse through more items.

Since this is a new feature, we’ll appreciate any feedback / bug reports from you.

Please post here if you notice anything strange.

Hope you like it.

Pro tip: You can also use left and right arrow keys to navigate through the pages.

Thanks Scott for your feedback.

We will consider making some user interface improvements once we get more feedback. Tooltips might not be ideal since they might annoy users but I agree with the fact we should be more communicative about this little tip.

Infinite scrolling is not ideal at the moment because of the current layout of the listing page. However, this is definitely something we consider.

In the near future, we plan to make the feature more stable, more flexible and faster. We’ll also be adding it to the search results page and other pages involving pagination such as the user portfolio page.

Hi everyone, the beta feature is now back online. We’ve had some caching issues which broke the sorting by dropdown on all marketplaces.

Let us know if you like it or not.

Thanks

Note: this feature won’t work on Internet Explorer and old browsers.
