Lately there have been quite a few threads expressing potential misconduct from fellow authors in regards to creative property. In some cases I’ve had to interfere, by removing links and politely explaining that such outburst behavior is not the appropriate way to go.

I’d like to point out, once again, that if anyone suspects of a possible copyright infringement, they should contact support staff. Envato has a trustworthy staff of professionals who deal with cases like this on a daily basis, and are always on the constant lookout to best preserve the integrity of our authors and the fair environment of the marketplaces.

As members, we must abide and respect staff’s decision. There is no need to take it personally, specially when it comes to an issue of such delicate nature. From marketplace experience, I can assure you that in most cases, by simply contacting the author and talking it out politely, most uncomfortable issues are indeed solved.

There is no need for a forum filled with discomfort, drama, and accusations, specially when there are appropriate measures you can take, as mentioned above. So I kindly ask, each and everyone of you, to think about what I’ve written here, and do your best to keep the forums clean.

Didn’t got what you mean…

What i meant to say about $$$$ is place with 10-20 originals or place with 100-150 modifications. I’m not pointing a the finger to someone…. i’m just trying to see some fair view about Creativity vs. Modification – what’s fair and what’s wrong!!! Thats all !

With an increasing number of items in the marketplace, it’s inevitable that some will bear similarities to others, even if by complete accident….

in that case… if this continues Envato will becoming big “mishmash” !!! And none of us wants this…. !

yeap…. you work hard to make something different and unique then one day you’ll find out that you can download your files for free on some doggy forums or even better, few weeks later you’ll see someone is selling almost identical project!

Envato support should take bigger attention on such issues… and Dzinc why you removed the sample links?

Dzinc, I did that … the answer is – see no problem !!! I know everyone want to earn a bit $$$, but then what’s the point of the support when you get NON ! .... and can do more harm than good to who to creative designer, to person who modified the files or suuport team?

Somehow i feel there be always such issues… its just the creative designer lose most!

And yes, only personal opinion! I’m NOT gonna complain about it or point the finger to someone, this is only to see if that is just Me or there is problem with it.

The issue that I am concerned about is the Creativity vs. Modification! I have noticed in the last few months more and more in all marketplaces more Modification than Creativity. I didn’t see any complaints about it on the forums or else, and i thought maybe there is new policy that i don’t know. But then it touched me personally once, then again and again… can that be normal? or I’m wrong? By looking in below samples, please tell me your honest and fair opinion – Creativity or Modification? or that just me overacting?
