Oh man, This is nowhere near your first PSD file.
In your first PSD you can really see it as an elegant and crisp file, and I loved it when I saw it. It really looked premium, you know what I mean? It was clean and organized and the colors were great.
But this one in the other hand is far from that, if feels like a freebie, it needs a lot of work in my opinion.
Don’t feel bad about my words, it’s just when I saw your fist PSD and then saw that I was shocked
I agree with Anps.
The design feels too simple. It need more pages and more elements. And since it’s an ‘Ajax’ website, then you should most definitely add a preloader on every page, that’s a great deal in ‘Ajax’ websites.
I think it has potentials, but it needs a lot of work.
First you need to work more on typography and line height and you should add more content to it and polish the graphic elements more.
You should contact the author of the theme.
Actually I don’t see why the design is the issue since it’s been approved as Html !!
Maybe if you redesigned some elements, maybe the buttons and add some texture to the footer bg, and use different social icons, and change the navigation in the header to something different.
This is all just a minor improvements, but maybe that’s what they want, I don’t know.
I like the design a lot, but here’s somethings needs to be taken care of …
- The icons in the dropdown ‘explorer’ panel is not suitable for this design, you can change them.
- The social icons needs a hover effect.
- The ‘rss’ icon’s position under the ‘homepage’ title is odd.
- The form elements in the right columns needs better styling.
- You need to a better vertical alignments for the elements.
A full sized preview will be better to critique.
Thanks, stmcan.
Great effort.
If every individual photo has it’s own page (you know where you can add comments and everything), then you can have a share button there.
The link is so dead
