Yeah I know that ratings have been less frequent for the last few months. My point is 4.74 average seems not to be changing although I get new 5 star ratings. Either something is broken or it takes a lot of 5 stars to move it 0.01 upwards!
I occasionally get new ratings but it seems like on my profile it always says “4.74 average based on 276 ratings”. Is there a way to confirm it’s working correctly?
I’m glad that I don’t get those 1-star ratings anymore but the recovery from the damage they caused seems to be taking so long!
Well, we’re not talking about advantages here, it’s a must unless you want to keep going nuts! People have experimented on these things for centuries and established the rules, you can’t figure it all out just by trial and error.
But don’t get me wrong. You don’t have to spend years learning the music theory. Just start learning an instrument and your fingers will know what to play next even if you don’t memorize all the chords and scales you’re playing.
If you are asking for a shortcut, there’s none. Grab an instrument and at least learn some basic chords. There’s no way you can be a successful producer without knowing the basic stuff.
Sales are bullish over here, above 50 days moving average
That looks bad. Hope you have enough food until its over.
Back when I became an author…
I thought earning $100 a month from my music was awesome, and it was
In my experience, any humbucker guitar will do the job in terms of cancelling the rf noise that single coils pick up from the air. The difference would be the tone and playibility of the guitar you choose.
Tonewise, if you are using software amp modellers even the best guitar will sound like crap. For this reason, I bought an Epiphone Les Paul which costed around $500 and I spent another $500 on a POD HD.
So far, the only problems I have with the Epiphone is it goes out of tune frequently and its sustain is a bit shorter. Other than that, it solved most of the noise issues.
There’s still some 60 cycle hum with high gain distorion tones due to my house’s power lines but POD HD’s noise gate manages to eliminate it without compromising the tone.
By the way, I highly recommend POD HD to anyone who can’t get a decent tone from guitar rig, pod farm, etc. Only downside is the signal is processed on the hardware so you can’t change your tone after recording.
Looks like it’s going to be a record month for me although second half of april is a lot slower than the first one.
