In theory a great idea. In practice though all sorts of problems can (and do) arise.
Was just looking at the popular templates section and noticed the sales figure is lower than listed on each item’s page.
Another thing I’ve also noticed is that the legal agreement currently only covers the two sites flashden.net and audiojungle.net
My browser is now picking up the theme forest feeds. The only problem is if I try to subscribe through firefox it comes up with “This site is currently only available to private beta users”. If I try to subscribe through my newsgator toolbar it gives me the error that the page lists feeds but no valid feeds could be found.
Anyone found a good way of navigating through this forum to look for latest posts?
My favorite:Are you sure they are totally free. I’m sure you can’t use them for commercial resale though :/It’s been good to me over the years.
Oh, and it’s totally free!
With stock.xchng you need to get the permission from the photographer for each image you intend to use before you can use them in a template you plan to sell.
While we’re on the subject, when is the Envato stock photo site coming out?
So, currently, if someone purchases a template they can use it for one site/domain only? Just trying to clarify this as there doesn’t seem to be any information covering it in the legal section.
I’ll probably throw together a few Joomla and maybe some osCommerce or Zencart templates for a start.
What sort of license agreements are we looking at for templates? Are we looking at single site licenses or perhaps more?
I spend a lot of time on my RSS reader and was just wondering if there is currently a RSS feed for the templates on here? It’s coming up with four flashden feeds when I try to subscribe.
Is this just some sinister plot to make us visit the site regularly?
Forever..
my problem is I’m my biggest critic and I won’t let anyone see what I’ve done until it’s perfect.
