Welcome to the hive!
One thing you can do is email authors directly. If there is a specific author whose work catches your eye,you can email them through their profile page.
Asking on the forums is also a good idea and i’m sure you’ll get some replies soon enough
Thanks for this revaxarts , helped out a lot!
Here’s something that has boggeled my mind for some time now, something a bit different.
Elevated by RGBA & TBC :
The whole thing is coded, procedular graphics,no textures used and fitted inside a 4k (4096 bytes) executable file…including the music!
How about moving the “Item was featured” badge to the item itself?
Just want to note that this raise in standards is only for the Motion Graphics section at the moment. I think we’re at a pretty good place in the Project Files an Stock Footage sections, and they won’t be getting raised in the foreseeable future.
Ohh right. Thanks for pointing that out,was a bit too hasty with my reply
Bit scary, but good news…especially when thinking about the future of videohive
Gotta kick it up a notch!
WOW ! Congratulations,you deserve it
The most overwhelming song ever to me is definitely:
Samuel Barbers – Adagio for strings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KylMqxLzNGo
Few others that i’ve enjoyed recently:
Sigur Rós – Starálfur: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sUVm77WjE0
Björk – Bachelorette: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-cQ3N-Ok7U
From soundtracks – Hans Zimmer – The Last Samurai: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFLMLHPVhaw
I guess i could throw a Hello! out there since my Lurk : Discuss ratio is somewhere around 100:1
If i get a clear idea in my head, the core of the animation is usually done in a matter of hours.Sometimes ideas strikes like a lightning and sometimes it comes from experimenting.
These days i try to “sleep on it”.When i finish the animation i set it aside and take a fresh look the next day.If everything still looks good then start doing the tutorial and preview images.
Now i just wish inspiration would strike so i could get something done!
