I think the jQuery Cycle Plugin is one of the best sliders out there and also easiest to set up :)
You can also use AnythingSlider jQuery Plugin
These are my favorite ones :)

yeah i just test the Cycle and i really like it :)

and the Anything slider looks good, i`m gonna try it :)

did you guys know the name of one the sliders that use some “overlay” text box?, you know, when you hover over the slider and a little box appears with some information about the image???

well, maybe that`s gonna be more complicated, right? XD

Thanks for your help ;)

If you want the absolute easiest to use i would say jQuery cycle and its super light weight.

On my multi-theme slider i used something called ‘easy slider’ which i found to be really good and on my most recent file (dark ‘n clean’) I gave coda slider a shot and found it to be difficult to set up, at least compared to the others.

If you take anything from this post let it be that jQuery cycle, while it may not be the best for sliding, it is perfect for when a client says ‘can we have these images fade in and out?’. I would definitely bookmark it :P

OMG , you`re right, the jquery cycle it is easy, but reaaaaally easy, i`m testing the effects right now ;)

i try the easy slider, but, i just can’t get it to work right, i think that it needs more thinking XD, but i`m gonna keep trying, looks interesting

Great templates by the way :)

Thanks for the help man ;)

well, i`m working on my first template, actually, when i start to work on this, it was for my personal site, but…..why not XD

i`m using cub3r (please don`t hate me XD) i really like it, but i know that some people needs something different (besides that, i just read that now we will have to pay a license), so i want to include an optional jquery slider, but, as you just read, it`s my first template, so i don`t know which ones can i use for sale, and since i`m not a professional coder i`m looking for something easy to use but with a nice style…...any ideas???

i found this:

http://ennuidesign.com/demo/contentslider/

why did you think, can this be use on a template??

well, i hope that you guys can point me in the right direction ;)

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad English o_O

I know the previous posts are 22 days old, but I was juts curious. Personally I think the design of the card is great and I would not hesitate to buy it, so am a little confused that you say it wouldn’t be accpeted the way it is.

What would need to be changed to be accepted hqm?

I am asking this to learn what the criteria are for getting accepted and denied so I can improve my own work.
It looks nice to me as well. Far as what is considered “Acceptable”, is beyond me. Sometimes I feel only a certain style is acceptable, but really don’t know so I just keep trying new things & hope it gets accepted!

well from my “not too much” experience here on GR, it all depends if the reviewer likes your desing or not…... when i upload my first 2 files, one of them was rejected because i upload it to the wrong cathegory, but even the reviewer told me that it was a very good desing, so i upload it again, and now it was rejected, “needs some improvements to get accepted”......so i forgot about that, and make a new desing….

I think it’s nice :D and ready to be accepted on GR!

Thanks :)

And sorry for my bad English…... XD
