It’s a shame there is no way to search your purchased items.

I’ve brought it up and asked the devs before, however the extra load put on the servers to index everyone’s individual items would cripple them, so it just isn’t possible for now.

the dl link to the file, it just takes you to your downloads, where you find to rummage through all your dl’s to find the product, sucks when I have 1200+ items purchased

I know that you have tried in the past Aaron but I have given a suggestion that does not put a load on the servers that have been ignored. There are many people such as myself that have bought many items. Why can’t we simply have select option to show the number of items on a page? If we have 100 per page then I would only have 7 or 8 pages can can take advantage of FF search page??? Now I have 39 1 1/10 pages One of the other people that posted here has over 50 pages.

as to server load if done right I do not see a problem as we do real estate sites and have many sites on each server and many users online at once searching thousands of listings.

Ok I now see ti. however many of us do not enter site on home page  and when I went there I saw reduced extended licensee image so I assumened since you saw it that I would refresh  then I saw Now selling EE extended licenses. Then on third time refreshing twice each time for 6 tries I finally saw it. IN other words it is not very easy to find :))

Stupid me I thought it was in the menu like other sites or in the site map or somewhere that you hope to see it and not only if you enter the site on the home page and pray that there will be a link to where you want to go. . I have other pages bookmarked so do not go there often. So I stand by my original impression is that they really do not want anybody to see this page

This is true, it’s also clumsy for me..

I found it from the code canyon site under collections where it just said bargain basement. It is the only link I could find to a bargain basement. why would it be the active den collection?

ok enguiring minds want to know. where the heck is the link to this CC bargain basement and why woudl they display active den under a link that says bargain basement on cc????

man it’s like this every time a new change is made – Collis will come along soon with the copy paste we normally get which goes along the lines of – hey guys – thanks for your feedback – we do really listen – right now this is the way we wanted it to look and work and it’s always the same when a change is made – it’s just a matter of getting used to the changes blah blah – sorry I don’t mean to keep saying this on EVERY change made but….

again.. sorry for the loud typing but really I don’t quite understand Envato at times – I’m not sure if it’s coincidence (again I am sure some marketplace managers will shoot me down) but my sales chart throughout this month looks fantastic – in fact my best month to date (thank you buyers!) but from the minute the changes went in place I have an absolutely incredible dip in sales – and when I say incredible dip I mean it looks like it went straight to the bottom of the deep-end of the pool.

Like I said, could be coincidence and with it being halloween etc etc but if authors and buyers are here complaining about the changes then SURELY quick fixes can be made here? At least to cover the strong items people have voiced concerns about – no collections, buyers download pages jacked up – usernames not displaying in the tiny space provided – no links to certain sections – really it’s a mess guys – if it was a project of mine I can tell you what would of happened – I would of reverted back to the original designs and then opened a debate to find out what folks did and didn’t like.. but then again I would not of introduced such drastic changes in one foul swoop – small steps guys – then tweak – it’s the new way forward.

Overall don’t want people think I’m here pissing and moaning about stuff – in general some of the changes were nice – but the majority of people are not happy with some of the changes – so let’s fix em up shall we? quickly…..

Personally I think the whole marketplaces need yet another redesign as it was poorly implemented to start with really – not much forward thinking on a lot of areas etc and the product pages could be 1000% better than they are right now – they look completely hashed together and from a marketplace type site – that my friends is a dangerous thing to have.

Just a note to say I found the bargain basement under Public Collections and lo and behold everything is flash from active den??? I thought it would be codecanyon files?

This is yet another reason things are not going good for our guys when we try to buy something

WE used to look in the collections to see if any matching items we would use and because of that we have bought many more products then we would have because they were in a collection related to the primary file.

On another note:

It is now October and I have not seen this Bargain Basement that was announced to start on Sept 1 in any menu or on any site map??? I have been wasting time for weeks. Evert y time I come to the site try something else to find this elusive bargain basement Is it really in a basement .maybe??? perhaps??

i don’t think the feature was removed on purpose, my guess is they just forgot to add id.

I was going to make a quick grease monkey script to make it all searchable, but i didn’t realise that they were on different pages, damn

That would have been a great fix or as I said let us determine the # of products we view per page mayeb 20/50/100/all Then it would be easier to search

now the link takes us to my download section that has over 762 products. It is not searchable/ sortable or in way shape or form easy to find anything. after going through 15 pages I gave up. PAGE < 1 2 … 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 … 38 39

If I have to do this for every update I stop using this site . This site was a convenience but not a necessity to use this site.

I have almost 40 pages to scroll through to find any update. Why did this change???

This is far from user friendly. we use to be able to download the updates from the product page??

Why cannot we sort the backend download section? I was told over year ago that this was in process. It seems to me that if users can filter products on the front end we should be able to do it on our download pages. Either filter the downloads or make searchable It is not that difficult.

sorry for the rant but this really irritates me. especially when I have been asking for over 2 years to make the downloads search-able or in any way easier to find a product then to find you guys have made it even more difficult.

consider me on strike until this is fixed. Maybe if more of us would stop buying until you guys fixed this then you would realize the mistake

even allowing us to change the number of items per page would help. 100 or 200 per page would help then we can use the search in FF

This site has many different functions but I am thinking a basic script to determine a users online presence in Facebook and or other social sites would be a great script to sell .

Have not seen anything like this on CC.

as example maybe how many posted tweets (select date range in twitter) and or the keywords in the posts. Possibilities are endless. Or how many tweets have links to your site?

then a check box list of other social sites to check all at once such as facebook, linked etc.

This is just a concept but if somebody could make this happen I am sure it would sell well on CC

Everybody that is marketing online needs to know how well they are doing. This is how webpositon gold, linkassist.com and webceo and other companies of this type started with A simple idea

PS I am not recommending any of these companies due to one of them being banned by Google but they are mentioned only to give example.

Anybody thinking of making such a script? Let me know and I will be first buyer. I wil settle for the most basic to start
