Redoing a corporate consulting site..like em both. Any comments from people who have used one or both?
Want to develop a site with this basic purpose:
“A bicycle registry website for a particular city based on social networking. Each member signs up their bike as a profile with a picture of it, serial number information, mods, and a status. When the status changes to “stolen”, members in the area are emailed and/or tweeted about the theft with a picture of the bike. The site will have personal messaging setup for members to contact each other about found bikes.”
Would this functionality be part of BP or more like a certain twitter plugin? Looking for suggestions and advice..thx!
To be used as a portfolio site for my web development. Also may throw in other services i offer..
love the look of both..can’t spring for both..not trying to pit one vs the other, sure they are both amazing, just looking for thoughts i guess..thx!
God help me I’m a democrat too..
So he wants a plain jane site like drudgereport.com, with limited to no sidebars with news postings that he can add that have a a full width look…seeking minimilistic look with the ability for client to add stoies on his own but also have stories come in automatically through feeds/rss (what other options are there) etc…
cannot be boxed layout, cannot have tabs, or traditional top navigation…yeah, pretty much like drudgereport.com..
ok so I’ve been hired to build a photography / jewelery / music showcase site and have the items for sale.
It seems like the only creative theme out there with integrated e-commerce functions is flashlight : http://themeforest.net/item/flashlight-fullscreen-background-portfolio-theme/616050
Of course there are decent e-commerce sites like propulsion http://themeforest.net/item/propulsion-responsive-business-ecommerce/1126092?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=Kriesi
out there but i want to get a bit more funky with the site.
There are tons of creative / showcase sites out there – but i guess what my questions is, the about two themes aleady have woocommerce support intergrated…can i purchance ANY theme and have decent luck intergrating a free ecommerce plugin that’s out there? there are a few..
or will it look crappy or not even work at all? if im looking to sell do i really need to purchace a theme that already has some level of ecommerce intergration from the get go?
Right now when i upload it into the various TF themes ive purchased the logo shows but then with the white layer box behind it.
i know this is an easy photoshop thing to do for most but i dont have PS and am on a deadline for late thins afternoon..
could any kind soul reach out and offer to help?
please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and ill send you the logo…
