I assume that most of you designers have created a nice collection of icons for use in your designs. I know I have, but I am now a little overwhelmed and can’t seem to find what I am looking for anymore. There are just to many folders to go through each time I need an icon for a design.
How do you organize your collection of icons for use in your designs?
Do you use software or another system?
Well that is one more:-) and I am very curious as to what you make of it.
The way I solved this is by buying a nice product on one of the marketplaces and use that help file as a guide:-).
I noticed that, not only here on themeforest but everywhere I have looked, there is a niche that really only has been filled by three templates.
I am talking about the guide templates.
The only three I could find are:
The Navigator: Premium WP Location Guide + Blog (which is here on Themeforest and done by themolitor), City Guide (done be Woothemes), Geo Places (done by Templatic).
I don’t think the fact that there are only three points towards a lack of interest but probably more to the complexity of such a template. But I do think there is a market for it.
What are your opinions on this?
I just got a warning message that there is a serious security issue in timthumb.
I’d like to point you to: The blog of the author of timthumb http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/2011/08/timthumb-2/ and the blog of the author of wordthumb which has become timthumb 2 http://markmaunder.com/2011/08/01/zero-day-vulnerability-in-many-wordpress-themes/My all time personal favorite.
I got a call and this guy asks me if I could make him 10 ecommerce sites for 120 Euro’s. I thought this must be a joke but he was serious. Weirdo:-).
My personal one.
Can you make several webshops for 100 Euro’s?
Sure dude why not throw in a Bugatti Veyron while you’re at it.
Hello all,
I have a question. About a year ago I won a site template via http://blog.wpcoder.com/news/one-year/ that came from here. I chose the following site template http://themeforest.net/item/clean-business-20/51677
Now xtendstudio that has created the Dreamweaver extension Flexi http://www.extendstudio.com/product/tableless-css-layouts-for-dreamweaver.html has asked me if they could make a tutorial on how to use this extension based on the layout of this template.
I do not want to break any rules here so I better ask if this is at all allowed? Personally I would assume it is not allowed but just to make sure I still wanted to ask.
They do not want to use any of the coding but just use the layout as an example on how to work with Flexi.
Hello all!
I tried contacting MIP but got no reply. Does anyone know if he is still busy getting better? I ask this because I have three small issues with the template I bought from him which I can’t seem to fix myself I am ashamed to say. So I kinda need his help:-).
Regards,
Wolf
Personally I would add a search option so one can search for whatever they wanted.
