I know the previous posts are 22 days old, but I was juts curious. Personally I think the design of the card is great and I would not hesitate to buy it, so am a little confused that you say it wouldn’t be accpeted the way it is.

What would need to be changed to be accepted hqm?

I am asking this to learn what the criteria are for getting accepted and denied so I can improve my own work.

Well I am glad it got accepted by adding more colors but it is still strange seeing as a similar set was just added that was all white. So an all white set is okay and an all black set isn’t?

Can anyone explain this obviously arbitrarely decision?

I thought the front was the back and the back was the front. Are you sure you don’t have it the wrong way around in your preview image?

I like your design but what I would mainly improve on is in this case the one you call the front. Take a look at this image to see what I would remove. That way it looks cleaner and not so cluttered. http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/7351/590e.jpg

I would also change the address and the other information (email and so on) so it is more uniform.

Just trying to help so please don’t be offended by my comments.

all dark web elements arenĀ“t that great when it comes to web 2.0 design

Why? I don’t understand this reasoning. There is nothing wrong, in my opinion, with dark colors (I am rather fond of dark colors).

mix them with more colors

but that would negate the purpose of creating a dark set. Then it wouldn’t be a dark set anymore and a dark set is something that can be very usefull. Black is a color that can fit with almost eveything which cannot be said of other colors. If InonS add’s the psd layer file with the set, one could easily change the color oneself if one was so inclined.

As for the width of the menubar. On the one hand I agree but on the other in some designs you don’t need a whole site width. In those cases this could be usefull. Again if there are layered psd files added it would be easy to add more menu items if one would need them.

All in all, the set looks nice and the black gradient (and grey gradient) looks smooth. There are no aligment issues with the texts so I don’t see any problem with it other than that the color is something that isn’t liked by the reviewer. Personally I like the color.

Hahahaha well we will have to wait and see who wins.

All I know is that listening to music with headphones on is often better then without them. At least when it is more complicated music. With headphones on, your hear more details which you would otherwise miss.

I think they are quit lovely however at the moment shiney things seem to be popular. maybe that’s the problem with them, even though I don’t agree because not everything needs to be shiney.

But try to add a gloss effect and try again?

I agree with colorit. Rudeness is unacceptable. Making a joke is fine and sometimes even a serious answer can come across harsher than meant, due to the fact that it’s all text (that’s why I am hooked on smileys, which can show where you are being serious but not rude) but rudeness is something I personally don’t stand for and find totally unacceptable.

That being said, I don’t know the exact ins and outs of this issue even though I did read the thread (I have no problem that the link to it has been posted here otherwise how would we know what to answer colorit).

However I come across some demo’s here and there that have problems. I am always unsure what to do about it. When I am not a buyer but just looking at stuff I wonder, should I post a comment, mail the author or move on and leave it all together?

Anyone has any comments on this or should I open a new thread (don’t want to hijack colorits thread)?

It might be a good idea to put back a backup of your entire site. That way you are sure they didn;t write any additional code in some files which leaves them a new door after you went through the current files to close the door they came in through. As Motionreactor said. There might be a script with bad security.
