Cool! Hopefully it will cover all the category items in all Envato eco-system. This will help starters on how to prepare High-Quality Items.
if its purely design no gaming. ill go for an iMac
a lot of really impressive entries! Good Luck Everyone!!
it will also be great if Envato can provide a rough or key points in preparing such Hero Images in the support website.
Good Luck Everyone! really Impressive Submission!
My Item can’t make it for this contest period. But i will still try to improve and submit it into this category.
mine is still in the “pipeline”. i hope it wont get hard rejected.
good luck everyone!
i got an Item to auto create Preview Images for GR Flyers. hahaha! you can purchase that if you want.
for me you are not increasing your productivity that way. waiting for 7days for it to get soft rejected? and the resubmit, then wait another 3-6days?
you should aim to submit an item that doesn’t get rejected in anyway, soft or hard.
learn from those elite authors or from popular files, check how detail and sellable their items are because of their Preview image.
before you upload your item, look at it, and think if it is same level or even better on the Top Items in the Market. don’t compare it to the items that are approved with no sales or with very less sales.
but if you do that, it will be very painful for the reviewer as well, and all the items in queue.
imagine working as a quality-control guy, you need to download the file, wait the download for it to finish; open it, then boom! its empty.
I think it was mentioned in the first post.. deadline is for submission or resubmission in case of soft reject – not for approaval! It means that Your item may be approved after the contest is over and it will still take part in it
does this mean that if you submit your item on July 14, then you get a soft rejection on July 18, and even if you “resubmit” it on the same day it got soft rejected, your item won’t be eligible for the contest?
i don’t think you can use Behance screenshot.
The safest way, which i usually do, is to use Screenshots from Web Themes from Themeforest. I will look for available theme that fits my mock-up, then contact the Author to ask them if i can use their screenshots, and of course, you need to tell them that you will put their Item Link in the description.
