1) Adding Content to the home page : (NOTE: Depends on the theme as well)

1a) Go to -> Pages -> Select Homepage. (If it does not exist you can create new page) 1b) Add your content 1c) Go to -> Settings – > Reading 1d) Set static page, Select the Homepage (Or what ever page you created)

What do you mean by change the order of the pages? Just want to be clear.

I would agree with @trendyWebStar the Header and Footer needs some work. But i would also suggest Font & Spacing.
