Just of curiosity, I tried less than 1 min to use single eye lol, and the thing is it feels more tired for that open eye than two eyes open :)
If you try keep one eye closed that will be tiring… that’s why you must use an eye patch.. as per my instructions ;)
No, I meant the open eye feels more tired. Maybe it’s just me :)
I tried and just within 30 sec, I felt strain on the eye which is open! It can injure brain activity, I afraid losing coding skills with single eye! :D

LOL :) So the conclusion is, you have to rest your eyes when they need. Don’t over use compy or anything!

Wow, first digitalscience’s funny infographic and then omarabid’s medical image. Some serious stuff is going here :) Just of curiosity, I tried less than 1 min to use single eye lol, and the thing is it feels more tired for that open eye than two eyes open :)

@bgm I need to minimize my comp usage some more but that seems like it works, thanks :)

turn down the brightness of your display, it will helps

Thanks man, that should help too. And I’ll never get a glossy screen again. But not over using compy and taking some time off is a must as well :)

About digitalscience’s solution, as he said, don’t think about trying lol

Hi guys, right now my eyes hurt because of over usage of computer. I’ve never used glasses but I may need. After long hours of computer usage, I rest my eyes for an hour or so but I may need a complete day of “off computer” lol. Do you guys have that problem? What do you do?

Although I want to make a minimal theme too later, I too want to say the term “minimal” and “simple” is over used around here. Like you guys said, minimality is the talent of supplying more with less and it’s a very hard task to achieve. And for simplicity, I remember there was a good article for it on web design tuts +. And the main idea was “creating a simple looking yet working and appealing web design is not simple.” something like that. I found the link : http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/design-theory/errors-bad-decisions-or-bad-design/

Maybe some developers can develop a WP framework called Envato which makes it easy to create admin options, shortcodes, a style switcher etc
There are a ton already which you can use. There is no need for Envato to create a new one. Envato helped develop/developed OptionTree – http://wp.envato.com/open-source-plugins/option-tree/

yeah, I know option tree and it’s developed by envato, but I meant there can be a complete framework I dunno for shortcodes, style switcher etc but still, it’s arguable if it’s really needed
