Best of luck with your new position
I agree with Mads about the FAQ style questions. It would be much more beneficial for both authors and potential users of the themes.
For many of my own templates, the “ReadMe” file includes code snippets and explanations of how to customize them, which I’d prefer to be read only with the purchase of the full theme.
The same goes for template support too. On my main site, I have released many free themes and if I were to answer every support question for these, I’d never have time to blog, research or design!
I’m really happy to see that some Blogger templates are now available through ThemeForest (Thanks Ooruc!)
Blogger is the CMS with which I am most familiar, and in my experience there has been a gaping void in the availability of premium Blogger templates for use with this system. I know of many Blogger users who would be more than willing to pay for well designed Blogger templates, particularly those with non-standard functions, and hope that other Blogger designers will also add their talents to this marketplace.
I was wondering if it would be okay to modify one of the Theme Forest banners to include a Blogger logo (or other reference for Blogger themes)?
My own blogs are strongly orientated towards Blogger, and I think it would help raise awareness of these themes if we were able to promote the availability of Blogger templates in this way.
