heh funny lil thing, after waiting for 6 days for my PSD template to be approved I got a soft reject stating it needs a documentation (and i did have a txt file with credits etc.)
Want to know about PSD documentation a bit what it should be in there?
Any official reply?
Already posted about this and did not get any response, kind of sad, we have a psd template in queue for 3 days now and still no were near to being reviewed. And as you sad with rejections it cant take up to 2 weeks to get approved.
Uhm… seriously? Only 2? If that is true I totally understand why this is happening.
Hi all, me again
Now i know review time is up to 7 days, but i just wanted to know the average now, since some time back it was a day, now I see some wait for 4 days and more. Just for clarification and our planning what is average response time?
Simply told price dumping, we all earn from envato some more some less but price dumping isn’t the way to go. The problem is that some can afford working month on a theme and bundling everything in other cannot that is why it is creating a monopoly.
But you’ve hit the point strait on.
It’s already becoming a trend, point is that uniqueness was the thing that makes you different but lets face it devs and designers figured out that if you go to much out of frame with unique designs you will not sell. On the other side envato and there army of reviewers still judge as it was b4. Change is needed but will it come… that’s a different story.
And you didn’t answer me what do you think support should cover?
And what do you think response time is? Even almighty envato sometimes needs more then 6 or 7 days to get to a ticket which does not have any coding to do just a simple answer.
And for each how do you set up this and that and I did some customisation and now it isn’t working and i want this feature and don’t know how to install a wp theme and i am a beginner in wp could you guide me and all of that for those 55 USD one buy(which we get 70% not full 55).
In my mind that is greedy, nasty and despicable to say the least.
For each of those mails you still have to take time to answer, and when you have a full support box filled its a bit hard sometimes to get all in that 48 hours and keep improving and building new stuff just so you can pay your bills and eat food. So most of buyers here pay $55 get tons of customisation for free and support for free, fix everything up and sell well I don’t know for $500 or some much more to there clients.
I know bugs are found and majority of authors issue updates to fix stuff, but we cannot control what you all are doing for your self’s and how this affects our products, open an iphone and then go and ask for warranty and get to me back what answer did you get and this is just one possible scenario of buyers rudeness.
The main question for you is what support means to you and what response time is acceptable to you?
