Yea well sales are bad comparing to last month, for us with our top selling item it has to do with competition and dropping out of google CEO totally, erratic search engine here on tf (for example every refresh pushes us to some other place ) etc.
The worrying part is that it went from one week from Friday to Monday 40-50% down without any big change in popular list.
Envato help was of no use. So its al l up to us to figure out the reason what ever it is. In the end is all about clients clicking that buy button
We decided to pump some money into SEO and some other things to test, yea we could end up loosing quite a few bucks but at least we will know what is going on. The most worrying thing is that when we did initial analysis our theme was under some other niche in google which has absolutely nothing to do with construction. We dropped from first page to nowhere.
Now the most interesting thing is that we did absolutely nothing on our part that could cause that.
And again envato help was of no use neither on google nor on tf search and yes i am still waiting on some feedback… well actually stopped turning on them in any case.
So finally judgement for now, push themes out, do research on what would sell and pray to whomever you pray that tons of variations of your product comes as late as possible
I’ll be getting back to you all with some feedback on SEO results… and yea those 1K$ we got for add words. Its just an simple campaign set to burnout those $$$ in few days with no real impact, would be much better to get a coupon or whatever for google ad words and let us take care of it.
First dibs system just does not work, for me first dibs is first dibs on our own theme i ended up getting 90% of other themes… so well I stopped doing it
Sadly the system is bad. Tried support and they sad they will take a look, then got report that they fixed it, I did not see any difference and I gave up.
Yea well i just wanted first dibs on our themes and after i declined the first job after few done that was not our theme i gut cut of to. I guess the system is full of bugs.
Anps saidit’s a national holiday in the UK (and so is Monday) so could be a reason, (I am not sure if it is in other countries)
I am quite certain that we have far less impulse buyers then before. But there are many other issues. Back to april sales guys, this week is as predicted weird. Started normally, but today just awful, Easter is at the door
Yup same here and in most of EU and i presume Majority of USA. Its the second biggest Christian holiday after Christmas.

just to remind you all, WPML must not be included advertising it in main thumb and various images beside all premium plugins as included and then in the lower pat of the item page stating wpml supported is still heavily misleading.
Do not do that it is not fair to rest of us.
Nice one Scott, but still like MTV just sand in the eyes Taco still owns….
Rouuuund 3 ...
I really doubt it that envato will do anything, the price dumping is what got them here at the first place.
You have to keep in mind that price model is usually one of the last things that go because its the most influential change that can be made.
And majority of company’s stick with same system until they see a drop which keeps on dropping, i mean a massive drop, after that it’s usually to late and the ship goes down.
Until there money keeps going up the prices will stay down and no change will be made, just check Avada every few month the bar goes up and the lower part of popular list stay the same.
Exclusivity of those items with the very low price keeps envato were they are… on the top and with competitive markets having what… 500 000 users tops? And envato over 5 mil well do the mat… the system is here to stay.
