There was a issue with a floating elements. I finally go for the negative margin.

I used but fummy things happened to the content of the footer. Is a negative margin a best practice. It works but then the content moves to the right i dont know why ill make more testing.

I am creating a layout where the main content area overlaps over the footer. I can do that using this rule on the footer:

HTML Code:

footer{ position: relative; top: -20px; }

My problem now is that at the bottom of the page theres a gap of 20px, is there a better way to achieve this.
