Hi Martin, I use *.mov with Apple ProRes 422 HQ codec, it looks so fine and doesnt loose too much colours. Your file will not be so heavy. Maybe you can also make the 3D render with z depht, so you can enable depht of field in the after effects camera and blur the lines a little to make them softer and avoid flickering problems.

I think that if you soft the camera movements will look better, because could read better. Add glow for diamonds. Horizontal lines also breaks the reading, I mean, maybe change the music for another more fashion style and animate feeling the mood of the music, because that guitar is better for moto races, boxeo or things harder than fashion. Maybe it will work better. Is my opinion, but we have to take into account that way of designing changes from one country from another.

Why is it so difficult?, I have the same problem here in Spain, even with crisis, I called many because I need someone to make a template for WP and they didn´t ever send me the budget. I was actually going to write a post here in themeforest, so if you find someone let me know!
