Quick question to you all.

I built a custom wordpress social platform for a client. Took a couple months of work, where I did everything from UI / Design / Coding / marketing and branding. I was paid and kept maintaining things. Now that client wants to resell the project to a celebrity. However, my contract states that projects cannot be transferred or resold without my consent.

What do you guys think about this? Do I have a point here? Or should I let it go? Any feedback would be appreciated.

This will be an interesting case to follow up ; I hope any fellow author / buyer helps you with any experience on this. Sorry for any inconvenience but, just asking, you coded everything from the ground-up or used a plugin like BuddyPress?

Wish you luck on this,
Kind Regards,
Bedros

EgemenCan , this is a brilliant idea but if for any reason that tab remains empty (or for any reason not has the “enough” number of webSites), the possible buyer asks “hmmm, why?” and this is not good for sales :)

Edit: Egemen, the comment I wrote above just sounded Stupid to me. :D
I think I am in an uncertain mood right now :)

hello bedros,

thank you but have you read my tread? i have spend a lot of time with different themes! weeks, months… but haven’t find one theme which gives me enough possibilities for my own ideas. of course, there are multi purpose themes which have tons of features… but always nearly the same features and not never enough freedome to style the basic elements like the grid layout itself or the space between grid columns and so on.

i am really sad about, that i never get whats in my mind without making many many compromises.

Hi. Sorry, you’re right ; I don’t read your thread, it was my mistake.
Anyway it seems you need some extra customizations, which means freelance work with an extra payout.

The definiton “The right theme” can only have meaning in time.
After beginning to customizing/adding content to your theme.
Only then you can know if the theme is right for you or not.Sad But True
Now, it is the “make mistakes as soon as possible” time. :)

That’s a pre-Christianity tradition, from the ancient Pagan Times, celebrated among a lot of cultures today in different names.
It’s the day of the light, from 21 March(equinox), the “days” are starting to get longer and longer.
Armenians are also celebrating it. ;)

The Karahoundj, Prehistoric site similar to Stonehedge, located in Armenia. It’s all about the ancient God of Sun.
The God of Sun was named “Ar” in Pre Christian Ancient Armenian culture, thus a lot of names are starting with it. “Ararat” , “Armen” , “Arpine” , “Arax” , “Artashes” , “Armavir”, “Ara” , “Aram” , “Aramais” etc.
What Armenians called “Ar”, ancient Egyptians called “RA”.
