Avenir and Avant but for modern logos i use Good Times a lot.

I am in the design field (Print + web) from last 9 years and I am using CorelDRAW for vector design, I also use illustrator but I found that CorelDRAW gives more options than illustrator to create & modify the objects and to apply effects, CorelDRAW only disappoints when export transparent objects to AI or EPS rest CorelDRAW is cool.

Here is in Pakistan when ever I done print job printing press required CorelDRWA file or PDF file.

Initially when I submitted my some files on GR they rejected because that were designed in CorelDRAW and then I created again in illustrator and resubmitted along CorelDRAW file then they accepted.

Now my two files contain following formats:

1- EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) 2- AI (Adobe Illustrator) 3- PDF (Portable Document Format) 4- CDR (Corel DRAW )

Yes this is the problem i have with CD. The transparent object get pixelated.

My items were 1$ ,but yesterday they had gone 3$. And graphic river write at the price that 2$ of this item for every purchase will be taken from Graphic River. I saw this and on every one other object. I don’t know if this is happening only at me or at all?

Just go to graphic studio and ask them they use corel or not. I don’t know how you people work with AI cuz it is very hard drawing there. Just try Corel and see how the draw is made there and you will say Corel is pro not Ai.

I just dont think corel draw is popular enough to warrent having it on the site as few people use it!

I think it is popular enough and i know to use Ai but CD is more easy at drawing. I don’t know how you people draw at Ai. It is terrible working there.

If it looks pixelated then you aren’t exporting from Corel correctly. Just remember information that isn’t vectors or gradients will be exported as raster graphics as eps files can contain both types of information. So any effects added like dropshadows etc will export as raster information.

It looks pixelated only when i have a transparent object in front of the image. For example the RSS icon has a transparent object at upon half but when i does this on Corel is fine when i export it to Ai the transparent looks like pixelate and like a normal pixel but with high pixel.

And for me the reviewer says just : this file does not meet our criteria. But for me is normal cuz i use Corel Draw and when i turn on EPS they are not the same. They looks like pixeled and not vectors. As for this file for me it seems right. I don’t know why they rejected. Maybe you don’t have include any format:psd , eps , png etc. ???

I work mostly on Corel Draw because form me it is much better than Adobe Illustrator (no offending to Illustrator, just my opinion). However i think and other people use Corel Draw. Why when we upload files there is no file saying CDR , but only EPS . When i convert CDR to EPS the file looks like it is done by pixel and not vector . I want vector to be added on supported files because Corel Draw is a same caliber program as Adobe Illustrator.

I’m 15 turning 16 for 2 days . However I work with Corel DRAW and not Adobe Illustrator and when converting from cdr to ai the file is not the same . That is the reason i have only a file here in envato.
