bbpress and budypress are two different things.

BBpress is a forum – Budy Press is a plugin which gives you social networking options

When using custom post types i always use the post_updated_messages filter to change the update messages. But i always notice that when deleting a CPT or emptying the trash it still says ”# posts deleted”.

Strangly i can’t find options to change that message with the post_updated_messages filter.

Anyone knows how this can be done?

I think it isn’t even allowed legally – despites what envato says.

Only in terms of blogging or journalism or something – but in fact it’s no envato rule – it’s the law.

The reason why i don’t use OptionTree is because i just HATE panel builders for building options. As a developer it only slows me down – no matter how good the panel builder is.
You know you can write all options via code in OT, right? :)

Haha yeah i figured someone would say this :D

But yes true true, but because it’s in there i don’t like it haha – does that make sense? maybe not :)

It looks really good this framework.

my 2 cents:

The reason why i don’t use OptionTree is because i just HATE panel builders for building options. As a developer it only slows me down – no matter how good the panel builder is.

To me there should always be the option to define everything through code, whether it’s an array or some other good usable way. That way it feels so much cleaner and i’m way faster with it.

So, if you’re ever planning to put in those builders – please do have the option to not use those – or to disable them – or to have a version with and without :)

And keep it fully customizable – there’s nothing worse than a overdesigned non-native looking options panel.

It’s hard to find the time sometimes to update an old item. Don’t think i’m gonna make it sometime these months. too much functionality…

But for new things indeed already started as soon as it was anounced.

it’s a trend – and certainly not usefull for every type of website. It’s up to the people who create websites to pay attention to if a onepage website suits their purpose. It has SEO downsides and limitations for content, but if it fits your use, it is nice.

One thing that irritates me in most onepage themes/templates, is that the scrolling is not smooth, very troublesome – specially if you styled the scrollbar as wel ( don’t! ) :)

Looks nice.

But i think messages like “Envato’s top authors make over $20,000 per month” should not be placed there.
