Well, no license at AJ allows for this type of use.
From the FAQ:
Can I use an AJ track in a stand-alone music track? What about sound effects?
You may not use music in stand-alone music tracks, but you could use sound effects in a music track.Example: You can’t add lyrics to an audio track and sell it on iTunes
That was his question, i guess he just wants to send them demos of his rapping skills…
“If i use the song only to perform and to send to record labels, which license do i take then?”
This is the question and i don’t know the answer! Does anybody know which license should i recommend to the client? Thank you very much in advance!
Well done, well deserved! Congratulations Leon!
Great track! You should definitely be part of the next MAFIA game soundtrack!
Sometimes 20, sometimes 10! but if i have to mix vocals in the song, then it might come up to 50!

On a more serious note:
Adrev is the future! Content ID was, is and will be in our best interest as artists! The main thing is just to let your customers know in advance, that they might have that licensing issue, before they buy the item! At the same time every author still has the freedom to choose whether to put his or her clients through a possible licensing issue! I don’t have many sales right now, so i won’t be using Adrev or contend id, in order to be as hassle free as i could to a potential big or small customer, but i do understand the people that use those tools! Kudos to the thread starter for exposing this problem, because now after so many posts and pages, we know more about this… And everyone of us, that read the whole thing, have better understanding of those issues! Thanx to everyone that kept the tone low, constructive and provided pure knowledge!
Here’s a few suggestions:
Good luck with the project!
