I can see now that the reviewers really can’t win!
I don’t think improving homepage exposure needs to be based on reviewing. For example, if the homepage showed all files accepted within the previous 3 days we’d all have a minimum 3 day run.
I wouldn’t worry. You’ll find that sometimes your files get reviewed within a few days and sometimes it takes a little longer but they all eventually get looked at
I think it’s great that FD accepts animations. After all, I search for them myself from time to time. But I don’t think lower priced files should make it to the home page. What’s best for business isn’t always fair. Just my opinion.
^ 3 days is nothing to sneeze at even if it is the weekend. I think the majority of concern is finding a way to help the files that only get a few hours
I am building a text decorator. you need many fonts to use on it.
embedding font is not working
What about loading in the users list of system fonts? Is it AS3 ? If so, check out “enumerateFonts”
Are you building a rich text editor? If so you can load in a list of the user’s system fonts. Otherwise I’m curious what type of file are you building?
Unfortunately I think some purchasers are very inexperienced. When you buy a car they don’t teach you how to drive it. Same goes with Flash. There are some basic web skills you should already possess before working with Flash.
My new file seems to be MIA too
