I’m sure next month will be better, nothing to cry about.
Thanks Gareth, maybe you are right. I like the idea of writing posts on blogs. I’ll keep all your advices in mind. Damn! I need to hire another person just for the marketing then because right now I have to choose or working on new and existing themes or taking care of support and marketing That’s not a complain.
Similar topics appear each month) And somebody ask “maybe is smth wrong with Envato?”. That’s why i would advice you to work on items and not spend you time on sales discussion.. because you will not get any positive results. It’s a normal stats.. one month for a part of authors – it’s good with sales. For the second part – it’s not so good. The next month is contra
1. I don’t start or read similar thread every month.
2. I do care about my templates and themes quality and that’s why I keep improving theme, making regular updates and so on.
3. I wouldn’t start this thread if I’d think it’s normal sales drop because it happens and I agree but this one is huge and sudden. But as I said on the beginning, maybe it’s too soon to tell and maybe I’m overreacting. That’s why I wanted to know other authors opinion.
I don’t know what is going on in Envato this monith, but the sales are much lower than last month. And I’m talking about drop around 20% which is a lot, especially when I’ve got new template approved few weeks ago.
In the first week everybody has noticed it, there was a thread on the forum about some possible errors in Envato Markets SEO and after few days was back to normal. Last 2 days was a weekend, so I understand it’s lower, but today is Monday and I ahve only 4 sales, which normally I had already around 12 to 15.
Maybe it’s too soon to tell and I’m overreacting, but I have this feeling that’s something wrong is going on.
This change is a great help for customers and excellent new revenue stream for Envato. Please don’t forget about authors. I can see 1 star ratings coming with comment: “I’ve ordered installation 2 hours ago and nothing happened!”. Will we be able to turn it off in our themes?
+1 on that.
Last few months we had average 12 sales per day, now we have 7. Definitely something is wrong. That’s a very serious sales, already 1/3 of the month and nothing seems to be changing.
does anyone know a proper way to use a VC in one page themes? The problem is when your homepage consists from different pages (sections), the design option feature become useless. Because in this case VC does not attach your custom generated CSS to the page.
Any ideas how to solve this? So the homepage which contain several pages content will also include custom generated styles for all its child pages.

Also, the form is very small and located somewhere at the bottom of a sidebar – I’m sure those who use if often doesn’t feel comfortable at all. When I use it, I always prepare the message in the editor and then paste in that textarea. Because its way too small for any amount of text.
