I’ve been trying to use only envato assets in my previews, and never really wanted to risk anything. So, my message to all authors here, use only envato assets in your previews, I think there is more than enough assets to convey your visual message.
It is a good advice, but in my personal opinion, Envato assets are very unappealing in visual terms, too generic . The other day I was thinking that it would be a nice idea to have a place where authors can offer certain items like photos, videos, backgrounds , all for free . For example, here in my computer I have a lot of footage and photos that I produced as a hobby or for my personal use, I will be more than happy to share them with the community.
Hey guys, I am from Argentina ! As far as I can see one of the main problems that buyers from my country have to face, is the matter that our government puts a lot of restrictions regarding handling foreign currency. It is almost impossible to buy anything that is priced in dollars because you have to give endless explanations about where did you get the foreign currency, why are you buying this or that… a true nightmare ( this happens not only in Argentina, but in Venezuela and other countries too )
Anyway, I think that the biggest obstacle for south american buyers and authors is the language, even if in most of our countries we receive education about different languages such as english, french, german, etc.. it is not easy to face a market ( like Envato ) where there are a lot of rules and regulations that are a little difficult to understand if you do not have a vast knowledge of the language.
Once I suggested here at the forums that Envato needs a Spanish version so we can add a market of millions of potential buyers .. I remember clearly that a certain Moderator and a few authors told me that this is a market/website for people that speak english only ( ?? ) a complete nonsense and, in my personal opinion, a very poor vision about how to expand a business and how to take care of us, authors.
In general terms it looks good, I think that it only needs some minor adjustments and perhaps you can ask for a new review ( I know that it is not allowed, but maybe they can make an exception ).
In my personal opinion, if you ask me,I would make this changes : I would change the camera angle to a 70 º position so it will give more depth to the scene , the way the camera is positioned now makes your project looks flat . In case that you change the camera angle I would enable the depth of field option to add extra realism.
Add some mild shadows to the elements ( photos and flowers ). Perhaps you can make some petals falling from above and landing gently on the table.. maybe some light leaks or lens flare.
This is a good project ,with a little more work i think that it has to be accepted.
Please upload your item to Youtube, to se what is it about !
You are doing right, Mocha Pro is the way to go
Maybe you will get lucky by selling this camera rig, but first you can try to find some ” beta testers” , people that can test your camera rig in different AE versions, Mac, Pc, and so… because you see, malty Camera rig appears to be a wonderfull tool, but everybody have a lot of problems when installing it and when trying to make it work it is almost a nightmare.
I agree with bilalmarri, the quality of the project is terrible, this have to be a mistake.
Ha ha, very funny, Terry Gilliam trully is a genius and, maybe a payoneer in the motion graphics field ? Marry Christmas to all !
I think that it doesnt matter if the computer have or doesnt have C4D installed since trapcode form uses .obj files, so, if you are planning to design a template make sure to include the .obj file. Anyway, ask the reviewers or moderator if that is allowed , just to be sure.
