you could also give a fixed height for each list item… this would be problematic if you had a ton of text to put under certain thumbnails, but if its just a line or two it would solve the issue.
is it your hand? sorry, but it look like hand of a guy
yes that is my hand. That’s what you get when you spend your time riding horses, hiking, and camping
This is my dog, he keeps me fit during the day
SUCH A CUTE DOG ! Is he a pitbull?
lol, I love cats, check out this slight distraction from coding she sleeps on my desk all the time cause my lamp gets quite warm lol, love cats, they’re so much fun
lololol that is so awesome.
wow …. love to see a HOT girl wearing that dressDude is that necessary?
lmao. I’ve ridden horses my whole life and have always gotten comments like that from my guy friends… pretty standard
I have a little dog
here my girl, tina:
Here’s a pic of my cat, Abbey… helping me photoshop http://twitpic.com/ylsmu
I have a tabby cat named Abbey who LOVES sleeping on my desk under the desklamp. Also have some fish… but my main pride and joy is my horse, Bree!
I liked joomla when I was first starting because like someone said above it’s really easy to get a site running quickly. I found it extremely hard to customize and theme though, not to mention it has a pretty hefty overhead. I’d be curious to try it again though, the last time I used it was about 2-3 years ago and I bet it had changed a lot since. I switched to drupal
On the Cufon generate page:Fonts produced by the following foundries/vendors/creators are known to be safe: Adobe Systems. The following are known to require separate or extended licenses for Web Embedding: Berthold (separate), FontFont (separate), Fontsmith (separate), Hoefler & Frere-Jones (separate), ITC (separate), Linotype (extended).
I read that and was kind of intrigued because I LOVE some of the Hoefler & Frere-Jones fonts… so I contacted them and they said they strictly prohibit embedding except for flash/sifr and images and dont offer any kind of extended/separate license for online usage. Weird the cufon would say that on their site.
Considering you can run photoshop and very similar coding programs on either platform I think this is kind of a silly question I use a mac at work and a PC at home, and I prefer the mac for doing design work… but mostly because the screen is way bigger lol.
Im guessing he means lines between blog posts, lines to separate the sidebar from the main body content, etc… ie in the sidebar here where you see recent forum topics, there is a line separating each topic.
I know Ive definitely seen some nice sites that don’t use lines to separate content; they’ll use typography or boxes or color or positioning to break things up… but I dont see a problem with lines nor have I thought to myself that any of the themes here are overusing them. I don’t think this is a lazy way to design.
Pretty nice day yesterday, had to pull over and take my hoodie off during my driving lesson cos I was too hot. Today seems a little chillier.lol…I heard the same too….Victoria BC, Canada… we’ve had between 10-15 celcius and sunny. I love it! We have had no snow this year.I heard you guys have to have snow imported to Vancover for the olympics
hahahha yes Vancouver had to truck snow in and shuffle it around on the mountain… Prior to the Olympics, some of the areas in Whistler were just pure sloppy mud.
So weird, we actually had SNOW here in Victoria today for about 5 minutes… then it cleared up and got sunny again. You get such weird weather living on the coast.
