Hey, thank you all so much, really appreciate your nice comments! Yes, I am really happy that this gives me the opportunity as we all know that making money with music is what most people dream of basically.
today I found the black paw on my profile page and I still can not believe what is going on here on Audiojungle. I can tell you I am just a normal student trying to make some living with his music and I never expected that it would work out that well – Thanks to Envato and thanks to this great community I met a lot of interesting persons and especially – I came closer to make my dream to become a full-time musician one day. Can
Happy to be part of this amazing place,
All the best to all of you, may this posting motivate you to keep it up!
Oh and I don’t want someone to missunderstand me. I really like Audiojungle and its community and concept and for sure it gives a great chance for composers no matter how old they are to build a good foundation to make a living with their music after a time. I know what I am talking about as I was investing many, many hours to build my portfolio only for Audiojungle.
But another very important point is that mainly all of us composers want to achieve kind of a stable income (to probably get out of our main job which we don’t like anymore or because of something else, there are obviously many reasons) and if there are updates like this destabilizing your (second) income this makes this desire pretty hard. I especially feel sorry for the really, really big authors here on Audiojungle that are already doing this as their “main job” after they invested a lot time and energy. Loosing so many sales now without a warning must be pretty hard if you are at that point when you are making your living with your music on Audiojungle.
I guess we should create an envato members petition to kindly ask the developer team wether they could bring back the old search engine which was really good I think. (I mean the one before this update and the update before).
It seems like I am definitely not the only one who is unhappy about the situation like it is right now and especially when really big authors feel like leaving Audiojungle because they are concerned about their current situation here on Audiojungle I would recommend bringing back the original search engine which was the best, I think.
It is just a bit strange if you see that in october/november/decembre/january you are earning about 900$ in avarage (didn’t had much to do with my christmas tracks) and suddenly the sales lower to about 200$. And I seem not to be the only one having serious sale drops, too.
i was experimenting a lot now and in the end I simply “cut” the Audiorecordings into little parts and looped them. Of course also a noise gate and some nice presets of Guitar Rig 5 did it. Thank you all for your help!
Thanks for your replies guys, much appreciated!
I just saved my latest project that I want to use for Audiojungle so you can see or better listen to my problems: http://picosong.com/Ywbc/
It’s in general about the whole e-guitar sound – What can I do to improve it and to make it sound more professional like the sound from the top selling authors on Audiojungle right now?
PS: I just learned to play e-guitar so I am a beginner trying my best, haha.
The sound comes in directly in realtime but when I record it it is not “perfect” if you know what I mean. With the noise I meant that the sound of the e-guitar recording is “silent” in the beginning when I don’t play – So there is no background noise – Just on the recording of Blue Fox Music for example he plays the chords and after that the noise gate attacks very heavily and cuts off everything played there – I heard this in many recordings now on Audiojungle and I wonder how to get that typical sound.
For the last months I’ve been concentrating in improving my E-Guitar playing and now I am trying to record some riffs for Audiojungle but it seemed easier than it actually is.
I am working with Guitar Rig 5 and Cubase 5 but there are two problems when I record the guitar:
The first problem is that the audio file is not 100% matching to my quantized background music. Is there a way to make it fit perfectly? I found about “Audiowarp” and “Hitkeys” on some tutorials but I wonder if there is another solution, too?
The other problem I have is the “noise” between the chords I play. For example if you listen to this very nice track by Blue Fox Music http://audiojungle.net/item/midnight-in-tokyo/2674584 you will understand what I mean. Total silent between the chords. How do I get that sound?
Looking forward your helpful answers, many greetings Crian
Hey guys, I just want to thank you both for your nice Tip with the Support Ticket in combination with the tweet – Did not know there is an option like this – Big thanks also to “Mario” from the Support-Team who helped me out very fast! Envato is great.
