Review team is over-loaded for last couple of years! and there is lack of planning at Envato’s end. They should have prepared a junior (level 02) team for basic updates and issues like XSS vulnerability.

I agree with FinalDestiny here. They should hire more reviewers, or add junior reviewers those may do the leg work. Current review team is over-loaded.
I know some people are okay with that, but I never really agreed with this method of approving. It’s okay to review 50 items a day, it’s okay to review 5 items a day, the number doesn’t matter, it’s the consistency that matters. I would love to know that they review only monday – friday, but coming off from Friday to Thursday with no approved items and then Thursday with 50 new items on the homepage is just wrong.
The items from Friday stayed 3 days on the homepage while the first 2-3 items approved today will be out of the homepage within 2 hours.Consistency, that’s what we need. Sometimes they review even saturdays, sundays, mondays, but it’s unconsistent. And it’s because there are only 2 reviewers for a market at this scale. They’re doing an impossible job, it’s Envato that should hire at least two reviewers more.
1. There should be a limit to free updates. 1 year.
2. Obsolete items should be removed from Envato marketplaces, there are too many products those fall in this category.
3. If paid updates are not the way to go, then there should be paid support after 6 months or a year.
Great plugin, certainly will give it a try ASAP.
