Hello Katsar0v! I am sorry, I just want to tell you my opinion, please don’t take it as an offense. I don’t think this has even a slight chance of being accepted. It’s very plain, generic and uninteresting. It has many design issues. I would suggest browsing successful themes here on ThemeForest every day and just looking at their feel and concept. Meanwhile you can try doing new designs in photoshop just to get a grip of it. I’m sorry but as a designer, you are just not there yet. Keep on going, keep on trying and you’ll get there eventually! Good luck!
He probably doesn’t want to pay for what should have worked.
- fixing bugs (this is a must)
- helping, when customer changes something and things break (this is more like a courtesy, because most of these issues arise from customers making a mistake, breaking a code, not reading documentation properly)
But in this case, the buyer complains about something broken in the theme, some bug, which is not his fault. The seller states he’s providing support, but is not reachable for many days (or weeks apparently), without any notice. Well… if I’m not temporarily able to provide support, I’ll let it know on my profile page. He’s an Elite author, he probably has enough experience to know this, before he gets angry one-star ratings. So.. let’s hope it’s nothing serious.
- Support is a added bonus
I totally agree with that… I just humbly want to add… We authors sell our products here in the marketplace. Similarly, if we go to a store and buy something, we all simply expect it to work properly (like a lightbulb for example).
So I guess, making (and updating) things to work correctly (without bugs) should not just be an added bonus, but our responsibility. Right?
Workout only makes sense if you’re enjoying it, otherwise it’s really hard to stick with it and truly enjoy. Many says that food is 70% of success and working out is only 30%. I thing there is no success if you keep eating bloody stupid things and “making” yourself go exercise.
Stop eating fried food, bread and drinking colored drinks (except tea). Cook meat on olive oil and add goooood vegetables (for some this is an oxymoron ). With the vegetables, it’s just a matter of how to make them crazy tasty – and that’s done with olive oil and good seasoning (sea salt, herbs). All that got my man shed 12 kilos of fat this summer (and all his muscle stayed on! – he’s a big guy).
Do only that kind of exercise, that you don’t even consider an exercise, that is just fun and helps you clear up your mind after (or before) a working day. Like I go biking to the woods 4 times a week, because I just freakin’ love it! That’s the only way you’ll stay with it and it can become a big part of your lifestyle.
Yes, anyone can declare their site or template as HTML5 . BUT is it for the sole purpose of marketing = making those sites look up-to-date OR does the author really tries to evangelize the new technology by using it’s evolving basis?
So perhaps this dilemna is not about the law or consequences…
If you took the time to learn about the meanings of new tags and are happy to explore new possibilities, that differentiates you from the sloppy developer that just says is, but doesn’t do it.
Make the social icons much smaller, with slightly rounded corners. Watch the spacing of them – it would be nicer to have the same amount of space from left and from bottom. I like the border around them.
What if the numbers are a bit bigger, you could use the same font as “STAND BY” for them.
Also.. the spacing is inconsistent between the lines of text.
For the submit button, maybe something like… http://designmesk.posterous.com/color-buttons-2
Overall, this is really good, you just need to finish up the little things. Good luck
