Hi guys! This time I had a really good feeling about my theme, but I got the dreaded rejection message.

http://dragon.designagent.sk/

Please help me find out what I’m not seeing and help me move on.

Should I drop it or continue improving this design?

Thank you all!

Yay! I just unlocked the level 6 badge! I had it in my Envato Challenges for 2015 and it’s already here! So happy!

Hi thehech! Your theme is nice, it definitely has potential, if you work on it more. I would recommend cleaning up the typography, it’s kind of all over the place (and animations too). You have quite a lot of font families in the game, quite a lot of text sizes, there’s a text shadow, there’s no text shadow… Spacing inconsistencies are also an issue. Work on it for a month or two, take inspiration from the new themes and successful authors here and you’ll get your theme approved!

That wallpaper is amazing! 8-)

1. Get to level 6
2. Create (and have approved) at least 3 amazing items
4. Take part in the Most Wanted competition
5. My item chosen for Free file of the month
6. Be more active in the community

I like the ThemeForest’s Popular Items page, but usually when I want to buy a theme, I first look into a certain category or search for a tag. Here I can sort by sales, but that shows me many of old items.

I really would appreciate a new sort, something like “Popular this month” or last 3 months.

Would anyone else buyers find this helpful?

Hello Katsar0v! I am sorry, I just want to tell you my opinion, please don’t take it as an offense. I don’t think this has even a slight chance of being accepted. It’s very plain, generic and uninteresting. It has many design issues. I would suggest browsing successful themes here on ThemeForest every day and just looking at their feel and concept. Meanwhile you can try doing new designs in photoshop just to get a grip of it. I’m sorry but as a designer, you are just not there yet. Keep on going, keep on trying and you’ll get there eventually! Good luck!
