Take a moment and familiarize yourself with this article on Envato Support:
“When an item is Hard Rejected it means that the review team feels the item needs significant improvement before it can be approved for sale. In this case the changes required are significant enough that the Soft Reject option is no longer useful to the author.”
But look, he presented two really good logo designs which have been hard rejected. Do you really think it’s because of minor imperfections in the font?
They both have some elements which will be difficult to see and rather impossible to print when logo is scaled down. That’s the main rejection reason for me. Font is 49% of the logo, it can’t have imperfections. I really understand the argument of time and effort put into work, I really do. But that’s not the most important criteria while reviewing our items.
Are these reasons enough for item to be hard rejected, or maybe they just could be hidden with appropriate comment? That question would lead us to a long, never ending discussion. There are always two sides to every story.
Sooooooo… Here’s a solution: don’t you ever dare to save your placeholder image in 300dpi. Ever!
27MB sounds much better
Hi everyone. Here’s a thing – I’m making print template in Illustrator, so naturally I save it as Ai file. Envato wants me to provide an EPS file too, but whenever I save it, it grows to tremendous, illogical, mad size of almost 0,5GB, while Ai project is only 12MB big. There’s nothing complicated inside the file, some squares (frames) and text. There’s dozen of images, but they’re all replaced with one placeholder.
With my current internet connection it would take eons to have it uploaded Is there any way around it?
Depends on what you upload. I just found out that print templates don’t have to be saved as EPS10, reasons are similar.
better center my logo thanksDo I can resubmit again my logo????
Do as you wish, I’m done You did nothing with your logo, not what I told you to. Don’t rush to be an author. Take it easy, spend much time on learning and, what’s more important, on listening to all the advices we’re giving you here.
Yes, then… do I can fix better center logo????
You need to spend some time with your logos and take care of all the details. Pay attention to what you do, see some logos on Behance or even identities where you can learn the whole process of creating logo. Remember what SomethingDeisgn said
