I think that it will be a good decision to make skype group of themeforest authors and chat all together :)

Is it allowed to exclude pages from search via function in wordpress? :)
Are you looking to do this in a theme? Then don’t do it. It’s not allowed to change WordPress default functionality.

Ouch! :shocked:
Yes, I asked because I want to implement in a theme. Thanks Ruben!

I think you are looking for a wordpress search function. Check here http://bit.ly/15cVJLK some useful wordpress search plugins. You may choose the one as per your requirement, advanced search etc.

really useful article, thanks!

Yes.

Use this function to your functions.php

// Exclude pages from search if (!function_exists('exclude_pages_from_search')) : function exclude_pages_from_search($query) { if ($query->is_search) { $query->set('post_type', 'post'); } return $query; } add_filter('pre_get_posts', 'exclude_pages_from_search'); endif;

perfect! tnx!

@Japh I am currently develop my new wp framework. I want this framework to be compatible with the new wp themeforest standards before upload my first wp item (about 2-3 weeks). Can anybody make small review onto my framework (you, reviewer or some another tf staff)? This will be very helpful for me. :)

Thanks!

One option is to purchase the vmware fusion 5. After that you can easily install any version of Windows on that virtual machine and you do not need to restart your computer to startup Windows system.
After that install IE Tester and thats all :)

3. Themes will be required to use whichever version of jQuery ships with that version of WordPress.
4. Authors are not allowed to deregister the default version of jQuery and load another one.

Whats wrong if we use the newer version of jquery?
There’s no need to do so, and it means you’re using a version of jQuery that’s not been thoroughly tested with WordPress. Considering how often WordPress updates, is there really some new feature in jQuery that you can’t wait a few months to have available? Surely not!

ok, thanks for answer :)
