Just ignore everything Envato have said they did not mean it! LOL
Thanks for the replies gang! It seems like we all have our reasons for being here…money for some, affirmation for others. The one thing that seems to be agreed upon by all is that the community here is unique and full of great people willing to help out anyway they can.
I’m proud to be counted among you.
I suggest doing a search for “speedometer” here at GR and look at what else has been approved, then compare those to your own design. Look for what those designs have that yours is lacking. You might even see something that another artist missed or something you can improve upon.
Best of luck to you.
I would gladly accept any and all invites. I’m just starting to post some personal work to these types of showcase sites. Thanks in advance!
Why are you selling on GraphicRiver or any Envato marketplace?
In my case, it wasn’t just to make a little money or supplement my income, I genuinely wanted some affirmation and feedback from my design peers that my work is at least decent and I’m not wasting my time with this passion of mine called graphic design.
Like many, I’ve tried to sell my work online many times before (through personal sites) to no avail. This, of course, left me thinking that I wasn’t creative enough, or that my design skills were not up to par. So, in April of this year, i joined Envato.
Fast forward to today and I feel like I have gotten that affirmation I was so longing for by not only selling some product that I knew deep down was quality stuff (woot!), but also by engaging with this great community of artists. You guys are extremely supportive, honest, and forthcoming with your opinions and suggestions which translates into a great experience and positive design results. So much thanks to all of you whom I’ve interacted with and I look forward to meeting more of you in the future, one way or another.
So why are you here…eh?
Congratz! Keep it up.
Just throw on some hip clothes and cool music and then grab a camera!
