Hello

i support other AJ authors trough our Soundcloud Group called Professional Royalty Free Audio Tracks

We currently have over 5’000 tracks online and are top ranked in Google search. We are also the top Group regarding contributions and members for RF Audio on Soundcloud.

Feel free to upload your tracks as well, but make sure your read the rules before uploading. We don’t have the time to message every author in case we can not accept his track because some informations are missing.

Thanks and good luck on the Marketplaces everyone :)

Daniel

Daniel, thank you for your great group! Just Joined :)

And yes, I always follw artists that I like.

Ettore

Hello and welcome aboard. The only tip I would give to you at this time is to move your desk in the center of the room, maybe swapping its position with the rack; the left monitor in the corner, as I see in your profile photo, gives you at least +3dB in the bass range in respect to the other one plus a good amount of smearing, regarding the stereo image, due to left wall reflectiions.

Cheers

If you’re going ro record voice and guitar together a ribbon mic could be an alternative and the t.bone 100 is a great value for the money. With a ribbon, tipically figure 8 pattern, you get a nice warm acoustic sound and you can reject the voice pointing one side vs the fretboard and the top vs the singer mouth; then your nt1, cardioid pattern, should be slightly lower in respect to the singer’s mouth and angled a little toward it. In this way you have a mono recording with very good isolation letting you balance voice and guitar quite easily; if you don’t like the result you can always strap them togheter for a nice stereo MS recording :) In case of a ribbon beware of your pre impedance that should be quite high and the sound of your room that will be very present with these two configurations.

Audio to midi, when it comes to polyphonic or complex material, still doesn’t work very well..

If you’re good on keyboards Orange Tree or Ilya are the best imho and you could try to replay guitar’s parts; Ilya guitars have one of the best algo for interpretation of your way to play. Here is me having fun with it :)

Hehe you’re right and I’m not worried about the situation, just curious. The fun fact is that he’s not even an AJ author.. :)

I believe it is possible as an exception but it goes in the opposite direction versus the way royalty free sites are conceived imo.

I’ve been working in the advertising industry for almost 20 years and I never gave a complete buyout on my tracks; usually (and this is quite different behaviour than AJ or RF music in general) I give the license to use a track of mine in exclusive for a defined time, territory and networks. The client can renew the license for less than the original fee (for istance I did Müller official music in 2005 and they are still using it renewing on a per year basis) but I mantain all the rights, plus the music is registered to a PRO for ‘out of my country’ royalties collection and general protection. Once the license end time has been reached, I can do whatever I want with my music. This is how it works in the industry but now things are changing and libraries get used more and more, both from major labels or royalty free sites like this one. This is why I see this thing as a step backward.

So this shouldn’t be permitted, right?

In this page ( http://audioaround.net/edc_arts-themeforest-4327054-fun-play/ ) the link ‘Fun play’ has been directed to my item but the ref (see the other link below) is this kennguyen that I never had the pleasure to meet.. Also the page is not mine..
