Did anyone try paid advertising on YouTube or Facebook? Would be quite interesting to know. I saw a video on YT where the guy said “don’t pay for views” but he was referring to services who guarantee you x amount of views. I’m more interested in dedicated ads.
I tried a paid program on facebook, Not for AJ but for another music project I was working on and they did get it out to alot of people, however they were random people who were not really interested in in what we were doing. Tried several different keyword combos with the same results every time.
I actually just started mine this week. Only 5 vids there but working on it. It seems like there are so many channels now getting noticed may be difficult. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCidD5RQiC517LIRLTvSpFjA
I find when I venture too far out of what I’m comfortable composing the end result is usually pretty bad.
I’ve heard of entire websites coming online with hijacked clips/music. The more there is demand for RF media the crazier its going to get.
Summer is really bad on all the Stock sites. From my experience it usually starts to pick up after August. Hang in there!
I use Twitter mostly, I know other authors use Linked.in and even Youtube. Its just a matter of reaching the people your looking for.
Congrats on being featured…Great Work!
