ok, but please, young developers, this last 3 css are not the right way to reset your entire html markups. just to be clear.

A little insulting, just because we don’t agree w/ you, even after you asked a question about what reset we use.

Now, I make (in my opinion) beautiful, sweet code. It works for me, it’s cross-browser compatible, and 90% of the time valid & strict. I wouldn’t have a job if I didn’t do it well, sir.

Don’t ask questions if you don’t want to hear them. ;-)

I think is better to use different descriptions depending on the content you show on page. The same way you do with title tag.

AGREED .

I’m all for going 100% on validation, but we don’t need to be Nazi’s. lol.

I always try to get my sites perfect, but sometimes you can’t due to CSS3 hacks, etc…

It’s just a recommendation, not a requirement.

I was using Eric Meyer’s, but it’s way more extensive than what I need. So I just go w/ a simple one I made:

*{ padding:0; margin:0; outline:0; border:0; }

If you can, I recommend using: <!DOCTYPE html SYSTEM >

Ummm… isn’t that the html5 doctype. Isn’t this a little early to use since IE is the slow kid in class?

I think strict is the more preferred method at ThemeForest since the markup is done in the css file it.

Transitional allows for and tags, making it less clean and harder to make changes across a large spectrum.

...Reminds me of those cheesy forums where everyone has an animated avatar, lol (no offense). :-P

Good one.

Here’s a great plugin for Firefox to build .apng’s.
