Depends on what context you are talking. In Australia the 25th, 26th, and 1st are public holidays (or the next weekday if a date falls on a weekend). Many offices close from the 25th through to the 1st, or a little longer. Not us though, we’re here working away .
It does look like it doesn’t recognise it as a zip file if the extension is in uppercase (eg file.ZIP). We’ll have a look at this when we’re back in the office on Monday, in the mean time just rename your file to lowercase.
Disgusting?!? No way, vegemite is awesome!
Especially on pancakes… mmm, pancakes.
I think you guys are making this overly complicated, if the live preview was only available to logged in users this would circumvent the issue of leechers being able to grab code without first having to register as a user.
Unfortunately this is unlikely to stop people. If they are willing to go to the effort of going grabbing your source code having to register isn’t much of a deterrent. We are aware of the issues with this and are working on it behind the scenes. Your best option if you do find anything is to report it to support, who will get on having it removed right away.
Meanwhile, while I’m talking developers please send good vibes to our new developer James who broke his leg in 4 places over the weekend and is in hospital. Get well soon!!
It was a crazy morning for the dev team on Monday. We had a broken leg, a limp, and someone else home sick. Now Ryan and just need I to injure ourselves and we’ll have the whole set!
Is there a way to find how many files are inside the following directory?
There is. The number is 10 .
I too would recommend going with a general provider and upgrading later on if traffic grows to the point of justifying it. I’ve used nearlyfreespeech.net for personal websites and their pay for what you use model is great especially when you start out. Websites tend to take a long time to become large, so unless you are spending heavily on advertising I wouldn’t worry about spending heavily on hosting – yet.
The best language depends on the what you need to do. There is no one language that is perfect for everything. I’ve worked in a few different languages, and they’ve all got their strengths and weaknesses.
That said, Ruby is pretty sweet.
Hi everyone! John’s not kidding about being miffed either, he’s offering me chocolate muffins at every opportunity in an attempt to slow me down. He’s on the wrong track that, he’d have much more luck with pancakes.
I have broken bones riding, namely a collarbone and a thumb. My coach has given me the hard word though, I’m not allowed to break any more. Coding with a broken collarbone isn’t much fun either.
