I live twenty minutes south of Amsterdam. The Netherlands in general is quite an expensive place to live. Money wise it’s propably better to look for a house/appartment in a town just outside Amsterdam. But when it’s necessary for you to live in Amsterdam, you can check Amsterdam South West.

I work mostly in Steinbergs Cubase (sometimes Propellerheads Reason rewired in Cubase). Drum programming I sometimes like to do in FL Studio.

RME units are great for the price. Steinbergs MR816 interfaces are very good also. Eight preamps though, so it’s maybe a little overkill for you right now.

For my recording studio I pay €200,- a month.
