1. Improve the Top Search Box 2. Make the footer background full-width
That’s what you can fix on the homepage.
OpenThemer saidHonestly, I did nothing very special. Just improved the documentation a little bit and added some jQuery effects on the sidebar and it got approved! But I have to say that this time there was another reviewer
I see you did just successfully uploaded your theme, congratulations! What did you change to get it approved?
After all, thanks for your comments guys. Next time I will try to make more unique theme according to your suggestions.
Thank you very much…
I made a Site Template for ThemeForest that got rejected. The reason given by the reviewer was that it looks like a freebie and needs improvement on all the stages.
Here is what I did: http://fahimmurshed.byethost7.com/reminiscence/index.html
I want to know what is the wrong with my work and some suggestion of what things I have to fix to get this work approved.
Thanks for your valuable time
Thanks for your suggestions Oliver. I was a bit hopeless because there was no reply since last 9 hours. Your reply arouse me again to continue the work
Are you talking about the navigation buttons? If yes then I will try to improve them as much as possible.
Thanks but the back-drop is one of the core feature in this work. After all, I will see what can I do here
I have also just felt that the breadcrumbs can be improved a bit more also as well
Thanks for your suggestions.
I have designed a PSD Template that I named Profolio which actually means Professional Portfolio
At first I started with only 5 PSD Files but it was never approved! Each time I got the same message from the reviewer and the reason was: The file did not meet our criteria. And I improved it a lot and now it has 10 page templates. But still it is not approved.
This would be my first work on ThemeForest. So, I am giving all the screenshots including the preview.jpg as well because I am afraid if EVERYTHING is OK or not

This is the last message that I received from the reviewer: We’re sorry, your item Profolio – Professional Portfolio Template has not been approved for sale on ThemeForest. This is the reason given by our item inspector:
This File Did Not Meet Our Criteria
We would like to thank you for your submission but are, unfortunately, unable to approve it at this time as it does not meet our current quality requirements. Please continue reading as we’ve explained why we’ve declined your submission.
=== Why We’ve Declined Your Submission ===
I’m sorry but the earlier review stands. I’m not seeing sufficient improvements here. Your template does not provide a unique enough design with the necessary design quality, features and options to compete in the marketplace at this time. As higher quality templates become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.
While I’ll be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise. I’m sorry to say this isn’t there yet.
I strongly suggest seeking feedback via our forums or sites such as http://Dribbble.com, http://ConceptFeedback.com or http://Forrst.com. These are all fantastic resources to seek feedback from fantastic designers who have a knack of getting their designs approved.
I got this type of similar messages from different reviewers and finally they suggested to seek suggestions from here and that’s why I am here now. I believe there are a lot of genius designers here in ThemeForest who can help me to make my work approved in this wonderful marketplace.
You may see that I am in this marketplace for 1-2 years but basically I was not active! So, I am looking for a bit detailed suggestions that can help me.
Thanks in advanced
